About the Founder
Marcus Soutra is a dynamic, award-winning advocate, leader, and trailblazer in social entrepreneurship. He began his professional journey as a public school teacher before co-founding Eye to Eye, where he served as President. Under his leadership, Eye to Eye (Now the Neurodiversity Alliance) became a nationally recognized organization dedicated to enhancing the educational outcomes of neurodiverse youth. Soutra’s innovative curriculum and strategic vision positioned the organization as a catalyst for change across education, government, workplaces, and popular culture.
In 2024, Soutra launched For The Good Consulting, a firm at the intersection of social change. Drawing on his experiences as an educator, social entrepreneur, and neurodiverse individual, Soutra deeply understands the challenges organizations face in scaling impact. He leverages his lived experience, professional expertise, and business development acumen to support missions that dismantle barriers and expand opportunities for communities furthest from access.
Soutra has delivered lectures and keynotes worldwide, from Harvard to Tokyo and Brown to Kuala Lumpur, and his dedication to equitable education has earned him numerous accolades, including an Honorary Doctorate from Keene State College, recognition as a Hearts on Fire Visionary by the IF Hummingbird Foundation, and awards from the Learning Disabilities Association of America and Purdue University.
Soutra is a proud board member of the Inevitable Foundation and serves on the Leadership Council of the Neurodiversity Alliance. He also actively contributes to the NYC community through initiatives like Achilles International, reflecting his belief in driving meaningful change both locally and globally.
A lifelong learner and committed global citizen, Soutra lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Amber, an educator and learning specialist, and their sons, Rhodes and Beckett.
